Vehicle description
1968 Chrysler New Yorker two-door HT. Stored in a dry building for years. This car is loaded with options. Hardly any rust and has a beautiful interior. Leather bucket seats, console, power windows, AM/FM, power driver seat, rear seat heater, power antenna, 440 4 barrell with dual exhaust etc. . Beautiful floor boards with nice dual exhaust. Straight as an arrow. Nice glass. Nice original paint. Doors close like bank vaults. I poured some gas down the carb and she fired right up. I"d clean the gas tank before runner this luxury cruiser.
Power antennae works, radio works right side speaker only, horn works, front and rear heater f ans do not work (back seat one groaned and stopped may have blown fuse), of the 6 power windows only 2 work, blinkers work but right side is slow, driver power seat works, driver door interior light switch door jam mount is rotted out by mouse nest and single wire to switch chewed off 4 inches in cavity, dual exhaust good, map light works, wipers slightly moved then stopped, emergency switch works, gas gauge works, amp gauge works, electric door locks do not work. Needs a new vinyl top. Very minor rust through on passenger quarter. Rear window lower trim is loose. Has 15 inch rally rims up front so hub caps will not hold. Rear wheels 14 inch appear original. Prior owner after installing a redone radiator looped the transmission cooler lines and the transmission fluid is darker than normal from this stupidity. I don"t think this ruined the transmission, but I"d change the fluid and fix the lines.
This is a cool and solid American luxury car. Call me to discuss or for more picture. Sold as is and I reserve the right to end the auction early since this car is for sale locally. . Rick Barker (301) 237-8360.
