Vehicle description
1953 Plymouth Cranbrook Gasser
Built 360ci Dodge with Six Pack 727 Transmission with B&M slap shifter Transmission cooler Narrowed 12-Bolt Chevy differential 4-wheel manual Disc Brakes Custom built fender well headers with cut outs Speedway straight axle front end with 4" drop Trunk mounted fuel cell and battery Custom fabricated sheetmetal hood scoop and door panels Towel City rear cheater slicks 59 Cadillac rear taillights 38 Ford front marker lights 56 ford pick up front bench seat Crager SS front mags Blue window tint Hand lettered and pin striped
The Gasser has never been to the track and has been used as a street driven car only. Dry western car so the body and chassis are rust free other than a patch on the passenger side floor board. 80% of the blue paint is original and has been cleared to preserve the patina. The Plymouth has been branded with Salvage on the Ca title due to being purchased out of a wrecking yard in Nevada. That may or may not be an issue depending on what state you live in. The Gasser has been stored inside and covered for the better part of the last five years. It"s a running driving car but the accelerator pumps are a little lazy from lack of use. The Cranbrook appears to have never been hit and the majority of the cars paint is original so probably ended up in the junk yard as an old derelict vehicle. Please message with any questions. I"m happy to forward a walk around video of the car running if requested.
