Vehicle description
this car has been in family for many years 40+ always stored indoors 50+ years hasnt been outside in almost 20 years. only started and move inside shop on occasion. i have title and its clear. also title says 1953 dual carb motor have some pic"s loaded will take any more upon request. contact me and i will send phone and email. your more than welcome to fly in or drive to view. since in family vehicle has no repairs in original condition even some shop dust. no minor or major repairs known needed except carb leaked and fuel hoses replaced and probably the standard things that take fluid.
i started it last few months ago carbs leaked so they will need repair kit.
this is a automatic or i believe a hydromatic as they called it.
The top of car and dark blue trim color apear to have been repainted at some time it looks great but body seems to be original color cant see where its been repainted or repairs except inside lid of trunk and door jams.
small scratch that was touched up and will buff clean on passanger side front low panel a few rock chips that were touched up but no other blemishes thats obvious.
smells clean inside the car and no pests or rodents animals
update- i took photos under the car subframe inside tire wells. roof drip above window"s where every car is rusted out.
few minors scratches or rock chips more less that can be touched and buffed but no rust where paint is bubbled on body or under body.
where the vin tag is you can see a bit of surface rust and around the door hinges inside the jam area. it apears the door jams have been repainte with the roof as well and any color dark blue inside the trunk one of the hinges was sprung at some point in its life and signs of the inside of the trunk was repainted probablywhen they did the roof and door which matches very nicely.
undercoating under car is solid and thick same for inside truck. whuch shows no signs of rust which is always a concern to buyers.
if you have any requests just let me know i will send email address for more pics. thanks
