About this vehicle This 1927 Hudson Super Six is a restored vehicle. The owner has had it for 2 years. The vehicle is drivable and is mainly used for weekend drives. Seller"s Notes Fan switch is in the left hand side if the dash. The car likes full choke while starting to cranks and then push the choke in just as you start to hear it labor. Also she likes full advance for start. Then back her down as the idle smoothes out Vehicle Details The car is in overall nice shape. Can be driven but needs a brake adjustment and service of some kind. Shifts well and has tons of poswer for a 1920s car. Can cruise at 55mph in this car. In the past year I have had the starter and generator rebuilt, added all new grease fittings to the car, changed the rear end fluid, changed oil and pan gasket, greased all fittings and added a 6v electric fan for better cooling which has helped tremendously and i added a 6v fuel pump which works great. Also did wires, plugs and points. Really all the car needs to be a great driver would be the brakes relined/adjusted/ or whatever needs a to be done there. I have also replaced the muffler about 6 months ago but it is now rattling inside the muffler upon start up. I have the part number for the muffler. It can be purchased at oreilly auto parts with ease. I had it same day when I replaced it. Exterior The car is presentable as is but does have some paint imperfections around the vehicle. I have put a DA to the car before snd it actually shines up very nicely. Wheels have some paint chips and such. The center caps are all complete and in great shape. The chrome on the headlights are near perfect and the chrome on the grille shines up nicely but has some imperfections. Interior Interior is in great shape. No rips or stains. There is a heel mark dug into the carpet and one section of the front pass carpet needs to be glued to the floor again.
