Vehicle description
1950 Plymouth Deluxe business coupe. Excellent condition! 38,050 guaranteed original miles! I have owned this car for more than 9 years and it is absolutely the finest 1950 Plymouth coupe I have ever seen. It starts, runs and drives just like a brand new car. All systems function perfectly and it drives great! It runs straight and true down the highway and both the steering and body are tight. No rattles or even wind noise and it rides very nice on the wide white radials. Dependable as could be, I put 4,000 miles on it since 2007 including a 1,350 mile trip with not a single issue. All gauges and lights work as they should. Doors, hood, windows and trunk fit as from the factory. There is no rust at all. All original factory wood graining is in superb condition. Just check out the images. One small dent a few inches to the right of the rear license plate on the trunk lid. The exterior is decked out with dual spotlights and dual mirrors, exterior sun visor, front bumper center grille guard bar, trim rings, fender skirts and gas filler guard. Interior is Spartan with no armrests, no cigarette lighter, no radio and only a driver’s side visor. Fortunately it has the optional heater (which works fine) and optional turn signals. Flathead 6 and 3 speed transmission. You can leave it sit for 2 weeks, come out to the garage and in a single crank it will fire up. Even at my altitude of 9,400 feet above sea level it has plenty of spunk. It is a fun and easy to drive car! There are 1.25 inch lowering blocks on the rear end, easily removed. That is why it sits level. I am not a dealer but a private collector who has been collecting 1950s cars for 50 years. I hate to sell any of them but I’ve run out of room and have to clear some floor space. Of course there are no warranties expressed or implied. I highly recommend that you come to view the car in person if at all possible. Once you see it in person, and if you drive it, I’m confident you will love it. The battery hold-down frame and bolt go with the car. The battery I have in there is slightly oversized. I would be happy to send additional pictures if you have any specific requests. Thanks!
