“The car appears to be in original un-restored condition and it runs, drives and looks good except that the leather interior is showing age with some cracking and a couple of small tears plus there is a recent issue with the rear window zipper so we haven’t been able to zip the window closed. (See all pictures that were just taken for this listing.) The car will come with the front exterior visor on the car. The power top also needs some manual assistance while opening/closing but it does work. We also are not sure if the Super-Matic is working or not. 1950 Hudson Commodore Eight Convertible Brougham - Series 504 Original Low Mile California Car This luxurious Hudson Commodore Eight Convertible Brougham is extremely rare with only around 425 total produced for 1950. This very desirable model was the most expensive in the Hudson line with a list price of close to $3,000 in 1950, about the same price as the Series 61 Cadillac. This sleek automobile has just under 60,000 actual miles and has been in California since it was first registered in 1950. The previous owners included Bruce Brown (Director of the movie, “Endless Summer”) plus the acclaimed sculptor, Albert Guibara. (Previous registration documents are included with the car.)
