Vehicle description
Relisted due to non paying bidder.
For sale here I have a 1946 Willys Overland Jeep station wagon two wheel drive project with a clear Ks title that matches the serial plate inside the drivers door and on the frame. Go to 1946willyswagon.shutterfly.com to view over 100 photos of the wagon. The wagon has a bent frame from the firewall forward due to a wreck decades ago. It would be ideal for a frame swap onto a newer 2 or 4 wheel drive chassis. There is no engine or transmission in it and I believe the rear end is an 8 inch Ford but I"m not sure. Its also missing the radiator and the rear seats. It has some rust in various places with the worst of it in the front floors and upper rear hatch. It doesn"t have any rust over the rear wheels like most do. The rear floor is good and solid with the wood strips intact. The front clip is fairly straight and solid and came from another wagon after the wreck. The hood could use some straightening up front. It has the deluxe bumper up front but one of the guards is messed up. It has a corvair steering column and wheel in it. It comes with extra parts for the dash, 2 spare doors, a spare hood and an extra lower gate. The glass is all old and should most likely be replaced. The Willys will have tires that hold air for transport if the buyer needs them. Overall this would make a great project for a surf wagon, rat rod, mud toy or a good parts vehicle. All good buyers are welcome.
