Vehicle description
1941 Willys Round tube chassis.
Includes wheels and tires Et wheels, Michelin tires Wilwood drilled and slotted 4 piston disc brakes front and rear Stainless brake lines Stainless fuel tank Bolt in removable roll bar ( sits back deep in body so it is not intrusive to the seats or uncomfortable) Motor mounts for BBC, SBC, or ls Trans mount for 4l80 New Dutchman Motorsports 9" with Timken tapered bearings, 31 spline axles Front and rear sway bars Aldan coilovers Heavy duty lower control arms 1 1/4" diam with heavy duty Chrysler lower ball joints, lower spindle holes are opened up for the larger ball joints, so you don"t have to worry about the ball joints pulling out of socket from the extra weight of a big block Black epoxy primer on the frame to keep it from rusting Also includes all hardened stainless bolts for all suspension and roll bar, most of the suspension bolts are on backorder, other wise chassis is finished and ready to go. The last picture is a past car showing how this roll bar fits behind the seat, easy to get in and out of, makes the car safer for driving. I have built 7 of these tube chassis, this being the only one that is not pro street and they drive fantastic because of how strong they are, put as much power in it as you want, I have done two that are in the 1,000 horse range and are driven quite often.
I build complete cars and started building this the way I would build it. Actually built this frame in 2003 and its been apart leaning up against the wall in my shop all this time because I have not had time for it. Last picture is of when I had a body on it. Was not happy with the body so I sold it off. Made for an original steel or Outlaw body, rear suspension kick up is a lot higher than the original so either will need trunk floor and wheel tub modification which I can easily do. I can finish the build if you would like. Call with any questions Patrick 636-239-2393.
