If you are looking for a no story sunbeam tiger mk2 this one might not be for you!
1967 sunbeam tiger mk2 project, according to Norman miller this car has every item (rear end, transmission, JAL number) to be the last body produced, but when it came to me it didn"t have the right vin plate. it will come with a REPRO vin plate and an original vin plate, you choose which one I install on the car prior to shipping and both of them with both registration will come with the car. One is car number 628 (bad repro vin plate that I had made for easier export process) and one is car 258 (vin plate that came with the car but doesn"t correspond to all the other items on the car (transmission, rear end, original JAL plate). You will then be able to either restore the true identity of the car or continue using vin number of car 258. According to Norman registry, 628 would of been stolen and 258 vin plate used in place of original one. I went through the process of legally obtaining 628 registration under my business name but I have given up on restoring the car I have other priorities and investment that are keeping me busy.
The project ; body is all done in a very nice standard in carnival red, engine has been rebuilt and is date code correct for a sunbeam tiger mk2, some cylinders were sleeved because the engine was seized. some parts were powder coated, everything else needs to be redone and some parts are missing (some tiger specific and some generic parts). tiger mk2 correct bumpers, tiger mk2 correct trims, wheels are missing. it comes with two hoods one with the hood vent and one regular hood. The engine ID plate is missing.
I Have shipped a lot of cars overseas or to the states before, will be able to assist and provide reliable contacts if you don"t have to make exportation easier.
