Vehicle description
1962 Ford Falcon "sleeper". This is a solid Tennessee car. After driving it in stock form for a few years, I felt that a powertrain upgrade was needed. I have installed a 1988 Ford 5.0 and Automatic Overdrive (AOD) from a Mustang Cobra. Custom motor and transmission mounts have been used. The engine accessories have been tucked in closer to the motor, using custom mounts. The engine swap is 75% complete. Needs driveshaft, exhaust, starter, battery box in the trunk, and tires in order to be ready to cruise.
The car comes with everything to run speed density injection. (carburetion is still an option) The car is lowered 3" all around, with cut coils in the front and lowering blocks in the rear.
The master cylinder has been swapped for a dual reservoir unit for increased safety.
Newer interior, steering links, lower control arms, and gas tank.
The front clip has been stripped, primed, and painted. The cowl vent has been filled, and fender trim has been shaved.
The front of the sills were replaced with stronger material to increase the strength of the body structure.
