Vehicle description
Hi, my name is Will and I"m looking for any expressions of interest in buying my truck.
In late 2019 I drove her up from LA to do a season working in Banff, with the intent of continuing my travels once the season finished. But. . COVID. As a result I found myself on the last plane back to New Zealand, leaving my faithful truck behind in long-stay carpark.
It"s a great truck, mechanically sound, stable on the road and I had just put a new set of all weather tires on. The air conditioning works well, the wear and tear on the inside is very minimal if not non-existent (it was a one-owner family car when I bought it, very well looked after and regularly serviced). The transmission feels solid (no clunks, slipping or jolts), and the high/low range functions as it should. The CV joints, brakes and suspension are in good repair, as are all of the lights.
In regards to what the truck comes with, as shown in one of the photos I have converted the back into a sleeping area with storage underneath. This can be removed easily, by sliding the frame out, to replace the 2nd and 3rd row seating. The 3rd row seating is currently stored inside the truck on top of the bed. The bed is a comfy full twin futon mattress, and the storage area underneath contains various camping equipment (two-burner cooker, water tank, cutlery, a pan, a pot, camp chair etc). There"s also a handy safe, bolted on to the inside of the bed frame for your valuables when travelling.
There are a few things to note however. As in the title, the vehicle is a US registered one and would require registration within Canada or be driven back to the US for use there. In the case of the latter, it will require a smog check before the registration can be renewed - The vehicle is currently on a Planned Non-Operation (PNO). Additionally the front windscreen has been cracked, as a result of a particularly nasty hail storm - it is my understanding that the windscreen is not smashed through.
If you"re interested, make me an offer and we can go from there.
