Vehicle description
Unmodified, rust-free, meticulously maintained local AB-SK Canada vehicle with current Alberta, Canada registration and valid insurance. 2 key remote fobs, books, records, Carproof available. Never smoked in, never had pets inside. Needs nothing and is totally reliable.
This has been our family touring vehicle for 4 years and we enjoyed it for trouble-free 75,000 km (47,000 miles), with majority being regular road trips to California and back. It has never had a single issue and never missed a beat. Will not hesitate to drive across continent in it. Current odometer readout is 235,000 km (or ~147,000 miles).
Everything works, nothing is broken, needs a repair or soon attention. Previous owner had an aftermarket remote start installed that works, but we do not use it since the car is always garaged.
The vehicle comes with 2 keys and full set of user manuals. Please see the actual as-of-today photos and feel free to contact me if you have any questions.
I have been religiously maintaining the vehicle. Most notable highlights:
* Amsoil Synthetic 5W-30 oil/filter change every 8,000 km / 5,000 miles. * ATF changes every 50,000 km/ 30,000 miles (did twice so far, the first including the AT filter). * Airbag recall done by BMW Calgary. * DISA rebuilt using a steel flap kit from German Auto Solutions * VANOS seals replaced with Beisan ones. * ECU reprogrammed to Euro3 with secondary a ir pump removed (No CE light and passes OBD-II check without errors).
Still, there is cosmetic wear and tear expected on a used vehicle. It is minor and you really have to look for it: a few stone chips (but no rust) on the front hood edge, small spots of peeling clear coat in the center of the front bumper, a pinhole ding on the rear bumper, a few scratches on the driver seat bolster (see photos for details).
The vehicle is Canadian spec, with metric speed, distance and temperature readouts.
The vehicle is registered and insured in Calgary, AB, Canada and is fully road-legal.
If you fly in to pick up the car I can meet you at the Calgary airport. I can also store the vehicle for a reasonable duration of time while you arrange pickup - free of charge. However, the b uyer is responsible for shipping arrangements and costs, I will only help with delivering the vehicle to a loading/pick-up area within Calgary city limits. It is a private sale for which there are no sales taxes in the province of Alberta. From my knowledge this Canada spec vehicle can be freely imported into the USA, but ultimately the buyer is responsible for determining the admissability into the US. I reserve the right to end the auction at anytime without any negative consequence to the seller. The winner is required to pay a 500.00CAD irrevocable deposit within 24 hours after the sale. This can be made via Paypal. The balance of the payment must be paid via money order or in cash. Please contact me for details.
