Interior Additions
The walls and ceiling are 5 layers starting with Noico 80mm sound deadening, Double reflective bubble barrier, R 6.7 denim insulation, 3/16 luan panels covered with automotive grade carpet. The floor was done with 1/2 closed cell foam, 3/4" marine grade ply and covered with Traffic Master vinyl plank flooring.
Raised short queen bed with 10" Gel Foam mattress. Storage drawers under front side of bed and large open storage from the rear. The bottom drawer pulls out and is used as either a seat or step for the bed. It also houses porta potti storage separated from the storage area. The top drawer is full length storage (see pics). There is a 27" Jensen 12V TV with Roku mounted on a Mor- Ride locking swing mount.
Power is contained in a cabinet starting with a PD 4100 series AC/DC distribution panel, behind this is a Aims 2000 watt power inverter with 30 amp transfer switch and remote LCD panel. 2x200 amp 6 Volt Deka marine batteries in the floor. Above this is a Truckfridge TF130 12V Refrigerator freezer, Contoure RV890B 1cu.ft microwave with trim kit, inverter remote, a 12 switch bank with digital readout and solar power controller.
Double sink base cabinet with Smev single basin sink that is supplied by a 10 gallon fresh water tank, pump, and hot water heater are mounted under the bed. Attached is a 4 drawer cabinet with self closing drawers. There is also a 2 door overhead cabinet directly above the sink.
We have had some great outings with this van, it tows our 2200 lb boat like it isn"t even there. Averages around 16 mpg.
