I’m selling my 2016 VW GLI. I bought this vehicle when it was brand new and I have put all the miles on it myself! I have a bit of a commute to work (which happens to be Volkswagen). I am only selling the GLI because I am starting a family and buying a house and I have to have a little extra money.
Engine- 2.0 turbo engine that you get in the Golf GTI. It is very quick and fun to drive! The engine needs no work or repairs.
Transmission- A dual clutch gear box. Shifts very quick and if very efficient! The trans needs no work or any repairs
Wheels and tires- the wheels are 18s from the factory. They have a some dimpling from some rocks hitting them. My parents live on a gravel road and if I were to go see them I would drive on it but no matter how slow I drove they still got hit with some rocks and dust. The tires only have 5000 miles on them
Body- normal wear and tear. May have a few dings or scratches but nothing major!
Suspension- stock VW sport suspension. It is a very nice ride but will not lean in the corners. I have driven a lot of nice cars and the suspension in the GLI very comparable to very 2-3 times the price.
Brakes- will need new brakes in 10-15k miles.
Interior- the interior is very clean! Back seats look untouched. The leather on the steering wheel and shifter knob are in great shape. My wedding ring has put some scratches on the brushed aluminum on the steering wheel. It come with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto which are awesome! You plug your phone in and it mirror your phone on the screen! You and use your navigation, Pandora(or other music apps), text and make calls from that screen.
Safety- 5 star crash test rating. Come with a back up camera and a great braking system!
Maintence- the intervals for maintence on VWs are every 10k Miles. I got the maintence done on the dot every time and it was well maintained. Never had any issues with it!
I need this vehicle gone! I am very motivated and if someone bids the right price I’m liable to take it! I set a reserve price because I have to get a certain price but it may be lower than you think.
