2016 Shelby F-150 Lariat Supercrew Pickup Truck In 2016 a new era of the muscle truck was born. The Ford F-150 Shelby unleashed a 700 horsepower supercharged 4x4 that had all the right upgrades to truly take off road. But this pristinely presented example has never left the pavement. After all, you don"t have to go to great lengths when you"re already pure intimidation on wheels. Producing only 500 units in 2016 makes this vehicle highly sought after. The F-150 is already an imposing vehicle, but it has nothing on the special treatment that was done when Shelby teamed up with the 4x4 juggernauts at Tuscany Motor Company. After all, this perfectly executed collaboration brings the worlds of high-performance and beefy off-road components together. That"s why you have color-matched bumpers (like an F-150 Lightning,) an imposing stance (like the F-150 Raptor,) and custom hood with dual intakes (like a Shelby Super Snake.) And you know they ordered this one correctly, because the shining Shadow Black/Caribou Metallic paint has full-length black stripes laid on top to really make sure everyone knows this is a snake-bitten pickup. While this screams performance from every angle, don"t forget this is still a truck that knows how to get to work. The locking hard tonneau cover (over a carpeted bed,) full-length steel step rails, and proper tow hitch all make this a performance machine with plenty of utility. This is the latest-generation F-150, so it has the cool panoramic sunroof option. It also has one of the most modern infotainment systems around. That means a touchscreen that runs the premium stereo, Bluetooth, satellite radio, navigation system, and 360-degree cameras. A future classic also means the best in safety, including dual airbags, side airbags, and anti-lock brakes. Just like a Mustang Cobra, this has individualized pieces like Cobra headrests, a special center console badge, and a dash plaque with the car"s serial number. The upgrades under the hood makes this special truck live up to its Shelby name. The original numbers-matching 5.0-liter V8 was given the expensive High Output supercharger upgrade. This, along with other added performance components, elevate this truck to a 700 horsepower supercar level. But as we mentioned before, this is built for plenty of real truck duty.
