2015 Passat TDI SEL Premium. This car was bought new on May 20th, 2017. It was purchased with 1,053 miles and current has 1200. After the VW diesel emissions was discovered in September of 2015 all 2015 TDI models currently in inventory were not permitted to be sold. This car was in storage at a VW dealership until purchase. The 2015 models became available for purchase about a month ago. This one has been updated by VW to meet EPA/CARB emissions requirements. If interested, the updated and all information regarding the emissions can be found on Volkswagens website. The Passat is Volkswagens mid-large size sedan. The rear seat and leg room are first in its class in my opinion. I currently have a VW Jetta, and while it has sufficient leg room as well for an adult, it is no comparison to the Passat. The same can be said for ride quality. It is very smooth and drives very well in town as it does on cruise control on the interstate. The navigation is displayed on the media screen if desired and also in the dash cluster, independent of the media screen. For comfort and drive-ability it is a very well-engineered sedan. The SEL Premium is the top of the line for VW. It is the only option that offered true leather seats instead of the leatherette. This Passat has every factory option available including but not limited to power heated leather seats, fender audio with navigation and DVD, remote start, keyless start, infotainment, and cornering lights. It is platinum grey with titan black leather interior. It has the 2.0 turbo diesel engine with the DSG six speed automatic transmission with auto/manual option. The Volkswagen warranty of 36,000 mile/3 year started on May 20 th , 2017. Also included with this Passat is an extended transferrable at no cost 100,000 mile/6 year warranty that covers nearly everything besides your wear and tear items such as brakes, tires, fluids etc. The extended warranty also started May 20 th , 2017. For those interested, this is most likely your last chance to own a new VW TDI. Unfortunately, the diesels are not expected to make a return to the US after the emissions issue. For those wondering why it is for sale – I bought this car as soon as VW released them for sale. I picked it up on May 20th due to the fact that I knew it would be the last one I could buy. I am currently a 2012 TDI Jetta owner, and I prefer the manual transmission that it has. I decided to buy the Passat regardless. With that being said – I do not need to sell the Passat. Offers are not entertained. You are getting a like-new car with a 6 year 100,000 mile warranty. If travelling is part of your life, this car would be a great investment.
