This beautiful 2015 Corvette Z06 Convertible is the last of the front engine Corvettes….the last of an era, I guess.
It has an engine producing 650 HP and 650 lbs. of Torque. It is equiped with the automatic transmission which shows faster times than the stick shift version. This car will go from 0 to 60 in an unbelievable 3 seconds, and will go from 60 to 0 in less than 100 feet.
Chevrolet advertises a 127 mph quarter mile, and I am told that it has a top speed of 200 mph. I took it to Bremerton’s Drag Strip once, my very first time and only time at a Drag Strip. The car was absolutely stock, and the only addition was a crash helmet I was required to wear.
I turned 124.5 mph twice in ¼ mile. That was a thrill and must be experienced to believe.

By the way, this Z06 has the camera in front hooked up to a recording app that not only records the video but also records all, and I mean all, of the engine performance detail, temps, speeds reached, g-forces, etc. These are all recorded to a SID card (all digital cameras) and can be seen in the car on the screen, or brought home and opened in the "Cosgrove" app which you can download for free. This is the app that was (is?) used by the Corvette racing team.
I recorded those two runs at the Drag Strip and you can see them. In fact, if you go to Youtube.com and search for my name, Phil Swigard, you can see both runs.
I have been the only owner and driver, and it only has 9,700 miles on the car. It has mostly just resided under a custom fitted cover in my garage.
It has Level Three trim, which is the top Level, and all options except for the racing tires (will not last as long as the stock tires) and the underbody downforce kit. (these things are race track items, and do little under about 125 mph which are not exactly highway speeds)
Which brings me to the reason I want to sell it. I am pushing 80 years old, and a bit beyond the hot sports car stage. I hate to see it just sitting in the garage (in fact, I cannot really see it as it is covered with a custom cover to keep any dust off its shiny, metallic, velocity yellow paint).
I have all the original purchase documents, window sticker, etc. I also have a CarFax report dated June 29, 2020 - a summary of which is shown in the attached photos.
If you are reading this ad, you probably know that 2020 Corvettes are very, very rare and hard to find. I understand that if you wanted to buy one, you probably will have to wait until sometime in 2021. The Z06 version is not available as of yet, and will no doubt be well over $100,000 when it does.
