Vehicle description
Four-door 2014 Mk.6 Volkswagen GTI Driver"s Edition loaded with options and a ton of aftermarket upgrades. I really can"t say enough about this car. I don"t drive it enough to make it worth the cost of having it in a city, but believe me when I tell you this thing is a BLAST to drive. It"s in perfect condition with just 25,000 miles and no accidents or mechanical problems. First for the basics and options. It"s got:
- Front-wheel drive
- 2.0 liter turbocharged TSI engine
- Six-speed manual transmission
- Traction control
- Cruise control
- Black leather GTI-branded seats with red trim
- Sun roof
- Touchscreen satellite navigation
- Heated seats
- Bluetooth connectivity
- USB and aux inputs And now for the fun stuff. I"ve added:
- Stage 2 APR with intake and downpipe. With 93 octane gas (which isn"t necessary - more on that below), that brings it from about 200 horsepower (stock) to about 275 (see here for more details: https:/ www.goapr.com/products/ecu_upgrade_20tsi_trans.html )
- EMCS program switch, which allows you to toggle between stock mode, 91 octane, 93 octane, and, if you really want to move, 104 octane. This is huge for when you want to minimize gas costs or, depending on your state, get the car inspected. Manual and instructions included
- 42 Draft Designs exhaust kit
- Carbonio carbon fiber intake mod
- Custom Miro rims (a little chewed up but they still look great)
- Window tint I absolutely love this car and it kills me to have to sell it, but here we are. Similar stock GTIs with comparable mileage are generally listing for $19,000 to $20,000, so with all the aftermarket upgrades (which cost me about $4,000) this really is a steal.
