Vehicle description
Up for auction my Mercedes CLA250. I"ve owned the car for almost four years, and it
was my daily driver for about two and a half until I bought my Boxster S. At this point is
was primarily a second car.
Just recently my wife took it shopping and while in the parking lot looking for a space, it
just shut off. The car was towed home and I found that the engine had seized. I have no
idea why, the oil looks goods, plenty of coolant, no signs of overheating. I have no time
and money to put into it, so it is up for auction. I was actually looking at buying a
complete salvage CLA just for the engine and they are selling for quite a bit more than
my reserve which is about what I owe on the car. Remember these are totaled salvage
vehicles, mine is clean.
I really hate to get rid of it, I was just about to give it to my daughter for her first car.
There are some minor issues other than a blown engine and who knows it may not be
blown.
The sunroof sunshade is jammed, this just happen over the summer.
The header panel above the windshield is faded and could use a clear coat.
The wheels have some rash and the tires are about due for replacement.
And of course I only have one key. This is the way I got it.
