Vehicle description
Looking to move this in the next week or so, will accept the best legitimate offer over that time. Happy to meet you at your mechanic"s shop
Great little SUV for the tight parking spaces in the city is available for sale. I purchased this old girl back in August of 2013 with 0 miles, and it has been regularly maintained since then as I use it for work on a daily basis. The majority of these miles are high way and turnpike miles, including the ~300 mile trip between Philadelphia and Pittsburgh on the turnpike multiple times per month.
2014 Jeep Patriot Sport with Freedom Drive II Trail Rated package. CVT transmission gets about 26-28 on the highway, 13 gallon tank. Usually good for about 250 miles on about 30-35 dollars of gas.
I got side swiped while parked in 2018 and there is a dent on the driver side front fender, as well as the bumper being pulled out a little bit but still securely attached to the frame. I can provide more pictures of this if needed. The only mechanical issue from this was the front axle being knocked out of alignment slightly - I had it realigned and inspected following the incident.
Regular oil changes every 5000 miles or so, and every 3-4000 after I reached 100000 miles. High mileage oil has been used since I hit 75000 miles.
The current odometer is 124079 but I use it daily, so I"ll be putting another 50-100 miles on it per day until it"s sold. I am a very conservative driver, and the reason this Patriot is still in such good mechanical shape is how I drive - I go 5 above the speed limit, I never accelerate quickly or slam on the brakes(I got all 10"s in my Root Insurance score ;) ).
Brand new battery, installed June 2019. Nearly new set of tires, replaced at 110000 miles. There is a full sized spare tire with full tread in the trunk, and I will also throw in two 75% tread unmounted tires for the Patriot as well that I have.
The transmission oil was changed out last summer around 95000 miles. Spark plugs were replaced around 105000 miles. The valve control computer was replaced in the intake manifold last month due to a P2004/P2017 engine code - no issues since then, but if you research the code you see it"s not a big concern anyways.
Just got it professionally washed, vacuumed and detailed on 07/25/19.
Happy to answer any more questions and take any other pictures before you check it out in person. This will be all by the book, you will be responsible for the title transfer, new plates, insurance, etc.
