Vehicle description
Here it is, a rare opportunity to purchase a Tesla in Connecticut. Why wait for the model 3 when you can get the Model S that you really want anyway? Unlike new models, THIS CAR IS GRANDFATHERED FOR FREE SUPER CHARGING FOR LIFE. Condition: This car is in excellent shape, has been very well maintained and has never been in an accident. There is a slight ding just above the charge port and there is a wear spot next to the driver"s seat. It also has accessory floor mats and center console. The tires are in excellent condition and the rear tires are a couple of months old. A Carfax report is available on request. About these cars: At the risk of sounding over top, this may be the greatest car model built, outdone only by newer Tesla"s. Once you drive one of these a Mercedes or BMW will feel sluggish, cheap and tinny. It always turns heads. The acceleration and handling are unbelievable. Most people ask about charging. It can be charged on a 110 outlet (charges at about 4 MPH) or a 220 outlet like your dryer or stove (charges at about 27 MPH) or at the supercharger station (about 300 MPH). These cars are really made to pull into a garage at night and be fully charged in the morning. This one has a range of about 180 miles which is more than enough to get most people around for a day. The supercharger stations make longer trips possible. I"ve done an 1,100 mile road trip in this car. The cost of ownership is quite low as there are few moving parts, no oil changes and the brakes are estimated to last around 150,000 miles because of the regenerative braking. I"ve seen no reports of batteries failing or wearing out. The body is all aluminum so no rust. This is a very roomy car (I"m 6"4") that seats five with plenty of room left in the hatch back and the front trunk or "frunk" where the engine would normally be. All of this for less than your plumber probably paid for his fancy pick up truck! I could go on, but you get the idea. So why am I selling this? Somewhat embarrassingly, I found myself with 5 cars. And as much as I love this car I need something that I can haul kids and stuff and tow things with. Although there is probably a model X in my future! Details: I also have this listed locally. I expect this to sell pretty quickly, so the first one with the money gets it. I may be able to arrange shipping or deliver in the northeast.
