For sale is a PA salvage flood titled 2013 Subaru STI with 30,536 miles. The miles on the title does read "not actual", since the car went through the auto auction not running. A quick check on carfax does show no discrepancies. My partner and I spent 7 days in Houston Texas previewing thousands of flood damaged vehicles searching for interesting lightly damaged flood cars. This STI was purchased in it"s present condition with the engine parts piled up in the interior and trunk causing some damage to the leather. Over time and with some love it may eventually return close it"s original condition? . From what we can tell the car was sitting in a shop waiting for a short block when the flooding occurred. The short block is missing and can be purchased new from Subaru for around 1800.00. Also missing is the clutch and flywheel. We pulled the interior, cleaned the floor and washed the carpet. The water level appears to have reached about an inch into the interior of the car (see the last two pictures). All of the interior electronics are still working, including the radio, in which the amplifier is mounted directly to the floor under the drivers seat. I have a video of all of the electronic components working. The STI is located at P&H Motors located in Hatboro PA 19040
This vehicle in it"s present condition isn"t for everyone. This is meant for someone who has some skill. A person who sees a car that retails for over $25k and realizes they could put this back together and be into it for under 15. Maybe a Subaru tech who can build a moto r blindfolded, and has a shortblock sitting in his bay with spun a bearing. A guy who hit a wall at the track and then finds out his insurance company won"t cover it. A builder who will gut this, drop a built motor in it, hit the track and save himself 10 grand.
