BLIND SPOT STEERING WHEEL SHAKER - RARE in 528
Rare feature this car includes the best BMW feature ever, the Active Blind Spot Warning System. An absolute must for BMW drivers. First of all, it"s rare for BMWs to have this feature, most 528s do not. What"s even better about this and absolutely a feature I never want to be without in a BMW is the fact that it shakes the steering wheel when a car is in your way, kind of like when a Boeing yoke will start shaking before there is a stall. The blind spot warning light is passive meaning it"s always going to work (at certain speeds), but the shaker is active meaning you have to put your indicator on for it to shake, if there is a care in your blind spot. I had no idea how critical that feature would be when I bought the car, but now that I"ve used it I want it on every one of my cars. To me, this feature creates a whole new level of confidence in driving, especially in the Northeast.
