Vehicle description
- 2012 Mercedes-Benz S550 4MATIC AWD 4.7L V8 - For sale is a 2012 Mercedes-Benz S550 4MATIC Sedan that has been garage kept and has only had two previous owners. This car is in very good condition and without any known mechanical or electrical issues.
Below you will find a short cold startup and driving video, along with a second video walking through the complete 35 page service record history of the car.
An issue with the CV axel shaft and speed sensor resulted in 9/2019, which resulted in the ABS, TCS, and distronic systems turning off due to instability in the sensor feedback. These parts were completely replaced and no issues reported afterward.
Front and rear tires replaced around 85,000 miles along with the wheels being sent out to be straightened before being mounted and balanced. The rear tires were replaced and balanced at 89,200 miles due to a bad cord found in one tire and now only have about 3,000 miles on them.
Only issue in the paint is a 5mm mark in the paint on the driver side door (photo has been included in the listing photos to show this cosmetic damage). This car also has nearly new tires with only a few thousand miles on them.
The car was also just serviced on December 23rd where it had an alignment and full inspection by the local Mercedes-Benz dealer (full service records have been included for your consideration). It is also time for the transmission fluid and brake fluid to be changed, based on the dealer/manufacturer recommendations, quote is attached (last page of service report) ~$650.00 if the new owner wants to have this done at some point. I had all the fluids (Brake, spark plugs, and transmission fluid and filter) changed on 8/2018 with 85,000 miles. So since I only put about 7,000 miles on the car since the last fluid change this seemed a bit pre-mature, but I included the quote just for reference to potential buyers.
The front and rear rotors were also replaced on 8/2018 at 85,000 miles.
