All chrome trim parts have been wrapped in 3M vinyl. This can be easily removed prior to the sale should the buyer prefer a chrome look. The original factory Mercedes wheels are silver and are also included in the sale.
A detailed inspection showed that only the bumpers and left fender have been repainted on this S550. No other body panels have been painted, repaired, or replaced.
This car has a Florida (COD) parts title. Kentucky will issue a salvage title. Before I bought this car California DMV told me they would issue a salvage title for it. After the car passed all the California state inspections they said that they will not issue a salvage title. The car can only be driven with a dealer plate in California. California DMV will not register the car because of the Florida parts title.
This car has been driven 20,000 miles AFTER the Florida parts title was issued in 2013. Only the starter needed to be replaced. The Mercedes has never broken down and has performed flawlessly for 20,000 miles while I owned it.
