Vehicle description
For sale 2012 Mercedes R350 Bluetec diesel with a bad engine. The car has 96000 miles and looks great. Nothing to say about the exterior or interior, it is like new. Everything works, from Air Ride system to panoramic roof.
The issue is with the engine, it"s locked up and wont turn over. I"ve put a wrench on the crankshaft and it wont budge.
I purchased the car with a bad engine in January and put in a engine from a salvage yard (90K miles). All original peripherals were reused. The engine ran good but needed a timing chain. Timing chain was replaced and it ran really nice, no issues. After two weeks and few hundred miles the car suddenly hesitated on acceleration and engine quit. Pulled to the side and the engine crankshaft was locked. The oil level and type was per spec. Temperature and coolant levels were spec.
Lost interest in a diesel, so if you like working on diesels this is your car. Full tank of diesel is included!
New items on car:
4 Pads and rotors, all filters, all fluids, hitch, main and aux battery. Open to reasonable offers!
