I"m selling my 2012 McLaren MP4-12C, in Supernova Silver with black interior and the white stitching option. The car currently has 10,250 miles, which may go up ever so slightly.
Let"s get this over with . . . This beautiful McLaren has a rebuilt KS title and should have no issues being registered in all US States. I"ve also had no issue insuring the car.
This car has NEVER been in an accident. I"ve personally sat down with the previous owner of the car to get the full story. This car was part of a collection of cars belonging to a gentleman residing just sound of Kansas City in KS. His garage was next to a creek that partially flooded during spring rains a few years ago. Apparently, the insurance adjuster came in and salvaged the entire collection of cars, presumably for liability reasons. As a result, this beautiful McLaren ended up with a rebuilt KS title. This car has been registered and street driven for years now and should have no issues being registered in all US states (I have no idea about CA emissions stuff).
Again, this car has never been in an accident of any kind. No bent metal, no replaced panels, all original. Upon purchase, the car was sent to McLaren of Chicago for a full inspection. The car didn"t even appear to take on any water inside. It did require replacement of the SCU module located in the lower battery pan of the front bumper (under the frunk). Following that, the vehicle received it"s dealer performed annual service and was sent back with a clean bill of health and was 100% ready to enjoy. Since then, the vehicle has been maintained and serviced exclusively by McLaren Chicago and service records are available. I have pictures and videos documenting the entire process for those interested.

11/6/2017 - Performed 5th year service. SCU unit Replaced. Passenger front Airbag Module replaced (recall). Water pump replaced. Crank Seal replaced. HVAC control unit replaced.
10/17/2018 - Thermostat"s replaced. Replaced Transmission cooler. Trans fluid flushed and replaced. 6th year service performed. High flow Catted Fabspeed headers installed.
I"ve owned several exotics but McLaren really outdid themselves when reintroducing themselves to the market in 2012. This car is effortlessly and mind numbingly fast with incredibly precise road mannerisms. As a friend put it, there is "no justifiable reason for a car this capable to be on the road." Transmission is a 7 speed dual clutch with both automatic and paddle shift modes. Fastest and smoothest transmission I have ever driven. Ridiculous power at all RPMs. Check YouTube for performance stats. 0-60mph 2.9 sec. 0-100mph in 6 sec. 3 independent engine and suspension settings: Normal, Sport, Track w/ launch control. This car draws more waves, smiles, and thumbs up than any car I have ever been in.
During my ownership I"ve had the OEM wheels completely redone with new powdercoat and had the outward surfaces machine brushed. This definitely makes the wheels stand out much more, especially on a silver car. This MP4 came with the factory high flow sport exhaust, which already sounded great. I also added a set of Fabspeed high flow catted downpipes to improve the sound and performance and potentially alleviate stress on the turbos. I also had the soft close door latches installed, which are awesome and automatically pull the doors closed so you don"t have to slam them. The previous owner had a hardwired Escort 9500xi radar system installed. No other modifications have been made. The car comes with 2 keys as well as the OEM McLaren battery charger. I"ve also just had all 4 TPMS sensors replaced.

Please keep in mind, this car has been driven and isn"t perfect. It has normal wear for a car that isn"t a garage queen. What I mean is that there are light scrapes under the front bumper lip/body from getting in and out of driveways, etc. The exterior visible body, is virtually perfect with no chips or scratches. The car does have full body paint protection film. The interior is near flawless except for one small isolated section of leather in the driver"s seat back where it appears the leather has suffered from some tightening/retraction. The car has been well taken care of and has NEVER been abused. I have NEVER raced it or utilized launch control. Of course, the car has always been stored inside either on or under my parking lift. I"m interested in an enjoyable transaction for all parties and am willing to provide additional pictures upon request. I want to be as forthcoming as possible so please ask questions. Also, I"m happy to take the car to be inspected at buyers" expense. There isn"t a McLaren dealer in Kansas City, however there is a highly reputable shop, Royal Autowerks, with McLaren knowledge and dealer software that I"m sure can help. I"m interested in a smooth and enjoyable transaction so please ask questions.
I"ve seen other MP4"s with rebuilt titled due to bad collisions sell for as much and even more than what I"m starting my auction at. I cannot imagine someone would rather have a car that has been crunched up over this car that didn"t take on water and was repaired by McLaren.
