Vehicle description
Hello
Thanks for visiting my auction. I"ve decided to list my personal vehicle today in hopes that it finds a new caretaker. I have owned and enjoyed this car for just over a year adding about 2,200 miles to the odometer. I can say, without reservation, that this Ferrari is the most fantastic vehicle I have ever had the pleasure of owning or driving for that matter. If you are looking at this auction I probably don"t need to describe the facts and figures for this piece of Italian working art so I will save those words for Wikipedia. I can however tell you about this particular car and why I chose it to be mine last year.
First of all, I am a total freak about my things. I see flaws that others may not. I can not live with a speck of curb rash or the hint of a scratch. I looked at many 458s before I made my decision to buy this one as this was the very best of the best.
Secondly, I did not want a museum piece that I would worry about using. I had several drives planned and I didn"t want to think about the distance. The miles, although low for a normal vehicle, help keep this car attainable for those of us conscious of our budgets.
Next, I didn"t want a car that was heavily tracked, or tracked at all for that matter. I have track cars, this was not going to be one of them.
This Ferrari checked all those boxes and still does. it"s a nicer car now actually. I replaced the "R" (reverse) button because the sticky work was de-laminating, It"s new, not repaired. I also had the underside of the nose painted because it had 4 scratches nobody would ever see, but I knew were there.
Other than those fixed issues, the car was and is perfect. I will state for the record that the car came from the factory fully white. The black top is a wrap. On close inspection you can tell its not painted. I am happy to have it removed if the buyer prefers it all white, but it looks fantastic as it sits in my opinion.
A PPI was performed at Ron Tonkin Gran Turismo 10/2018 and is available upon request.
I am available night or day with questions. Feel free to call me anytime. I am happy to help arrange for shipping anywhere in the world. I also own the Ferrari free and clear and there are no liens or payoffs that need to be addressed post sale. I am also happy to work with lenders if you plan on a financed or leased purchase.
