About the truck, it"s a Ram 1500 SLT with approx 108K miles. 4.7L V8 with a 5th wheel receiver installed in the bed, underneath the liner. Has trailer brake controller installed as well. Wheels and tires have recently been upgraded and will only have about 400 miles on them when sold. A leveling kit would really improve the appearance of these wheels, which will come with the truck, just needs to be installed.
I bought this truck in January and have driven over 23k miles and had only one problem the entire time. It"s routine on Ram 1500"s, around 100k miles the transmission solenoid pack needs to be replaced. That was done along with the trans fluid and filters. Oil has always been changed with synthetic every 3-4k miles Everything works as it should with the exception of the USB plug inside the center console. It"s a great truck, dependable and ready to go anywhere, do anything.
Not sure about why it has a salvage title, h aven"t found any indication that it"s been in an accident. W hen I bought it the hood had blown onto the cab at highway speed, causing the hood and windshield to need replacing. You"ll notice the top of the fenders where they meet the hood corners are damaged and have only somewhat been repaired. Has cosmetic flaws, mostly paint related and the passenger side of the bumper is dented.
It runs and drives flawlessly, should last another 100k miles so. Wasn"t planning on selling it but need to in order take an extended trip overseas. Can be seen locally around Snyder TX or picked up at Dallas Ft. Worth airport.
