Vehicle description
This BMW is a great and classy car. It is a luxury vehicle full of comfort. The car does work and run well. It faces some coolant issues which need repair and may need some additional repairs. I recommend this car for someone who knows BMWs and can manage repairs if needed. Here are some of the considerations for the car. The car can overheat quickly. With the AC off it will last longer. The engine in late 2020 overheated and smoke came out of it. I have used it from March 2021 - August 2021 every day for multiple 20-30 minute drives with no issues. But I do note the car can overheat quickly and that I have to monitor the heat of the engine. But if the car overheats it will automatically turn itself off to protect the engine. So this is something to watch out for. To minimize overheating I often dont turn on the AC and I try to limit my driving to local driving. I dont take highways or put a lot of pressure on the car. The Coolant occasionally leaks, and I will refill with coolant every few weeks. The oil pan also needs to be replaced soon. The car is a great investment opportunity for a mechanic. Or if you are interesting in only local driving - this could be a good option for you!
