We are a small shop that prides itself on quality. Unlike most dealers, we do not cut corners with any of our cars and only sell quality. Guerette Motors originally started in 2006 as Top Notch Performance (TNP) in Stanton, CA by Shawn Guerette. Shawn is not your typical mechanic but is more of a mechanical savant. He built his first motorized shooter at age 10 out of a lawn mower engine and by the age of 12 was running his own lawn mower repair business. Shawn continued to thrive and by the age of 18 was one of the top mechanics at Elmore Toyota and later Honda World in Westminster Ca. Shawn opened the doors to TNP in 2006 and over the next 11 years developed a solid and loyal customer base. With zero marketing, the word spread quick that Shawn is extremely honest, meticulous, caring, and a perfectionist. Guerette Motors was born in 2017 when Shawn and his good friend Christopher Harris (seasoned CFO with years of experience running businesses) joined forces to create a different kind of car repair shop and dealership. We pride ourselves on quality, craftsmanship, trust, and long-term relationships. Shawn and Christopher H. The Business is owned by two friends Christopher Harris and Shawn Guerette. The unlikely pair came together through common interests in Motocross, Jet Ski Racing, and pretty much everything else with a fast motor. Christopher Harris is a seasoned business manager (CFO) and entrepreneur with a background in accounting in finance. Christopher received his bachelor"s degree in Accounting from CSULB and an MBA in finance from CSUDH. He worked for Corporate America for the first ten years of his career before starting a number of successful businesses across multiple industries. Christopher started Guerette Motors with his good friend and master mechanic Shawn Guerette because he was sick and tired of getting sub-par service for absorbent prices and having a terrible experience buying a used or new car. Christopher felt there was a need in the market for a smaller car dealership that actually cared about their customers and their vehicles.
