Vehicle description
Up for sale is my 2011 Cayenne Turbo with 69,000 miles on it. The vehicle is a "Launch Edition" which means it comes with almost every option. The exterior is black. The interior is beige. It has an aftermarket Fabspeed exhaust ($2595.00) and custom exhaust remote control cutouts as well. Also, It has a Vivid Racing Tune installed ($2195.00) which adds 100hp and 140ft lbs of torque. I also replaced all brake pads and rotors (Expensive job).
The tan leather shows very well. There is a factory tow package installed as well. Wheels are 22"
I"ve the owned the Porsche for a few years and have maintained it well. The vehicle has a rebuilt Florida title and can be titled anywhere. I"m selling the vehicle because i no longer need it. Last Aug the AC stopped blowing cold and i took it to my Porsche mechanic to Diagnose. I needed a vehicle while it was in the shop so i bought a Ram truck (something I"ve been needing for a long time). $3000 later, the AC was fixed and is blowing cold. When the mechanic lowered the vehicle from his service lift, the suspension is staying locked in the highest position. It doesn"t leak, and the air suspension doesn"t droop. It remains locked in the highest most position. The rear is raised more than the front. I"m not sure what the cause is and I didn"t feel like putting any more money into the Cayenne to diagnose and repair so I elected to pick it up. It could be something as simple as electronic reprogramming (or maybe it wasn"t placed in "Jack Mode" prior to him putting it on the lift.
Here is a link to another owner that had the same problem and solution https:/ rennlist.com/forums/cayenne-955-957-2003-2010/868230-shop-lifted-without-disabling-suspension-rear-stuck-at-full-travel-how-i-fixed-it.html
He believed the suspension was not put in "Jack Mode" and when the vehicle was lowered off the lift, the suspension sensors were out of range and the computer could not correct it. His solution was to bleed the rear air struts until the car was at normal height. At that point the computer was able to recognize the sensor value and correct.
Regardless, The Cayenne has been parked at my house and I have no need for it after buying the truck.
The only other items that I found recently don"t work are the driver"s side seat heater (I live in Fl and had honestly never turned it on until recently going through the options) and the rear left power window shade (The motor struggles to raise and lower the shade. A $200 part will fix this if you desire).
PLEASE DON"T BID UNLESS YOU HAVE YOUR FUNDS IN ORDER. THANKS MUCH!
