2010 Volkwagon CC for sale. This car does not run. This car is best for someone who has to the knowledge and time to repair. Issues listed below. 97,000+ miles 6 Speed Automatic Leather interior Heated Seats AC Works Tires and brakes & rotors all done 6 months ago The car will not run because: - Timing Chain - The timing chain is 7 degrees off. I don"t know what this exactly means as far as a repair, but chances are if you are a mechanic you probably do. There is currently a class action lawsuit over timing chain issues identical to this one. Fingers crossed maybe it becomes a recall and you"d get a refund on your repairs, who knows. Note - this car will require being towed when purchased. Other known issues (that do not prevent driving): - Oil leak - this does not prevent the car from running but should be addressed - Trunk door doesn"t pop open from key. Assuming the truck wire harness has worn though (common vw issue). Can be opened by pulling the trunk release from inside the trunk. - Windshield has a 3 inch circular impact crack and a chip on the other side. It"s been this way for years, it"s not getting any worse. See photos. -Driver side seat has a rip/worn through from getting in and out of the car.
