Vehicle description
Hello,
I"m selling my 2010 Mazda MX-5 Miata. It is in excellent condition and is ready to drive off. Convertible weather just started and this car is perfect with the added safety, convenience, and comfort of the power hard top!
Highlights:
-Grand Touring trim, Liquid Silver Metallic color, PRHT (Power Retractable Hard Top), 6 spd. manual transmission. It does not have the Premium/Sports package.
-Exterior: 8.5/10, Interior: 9.5/10
-Owned by adult / engineer
-Low mileage (30,150mi), mostly on interstate highways between upstate NY and NYC.
-32 MPG on the highway
-Garage kept
-No accidents
-Everything works
-Mobil 1 synthetic oil / Bosch filter changes every ~3000 miles
-Rust free
-Clear/clean title in hand
-Comes with two keys, original manuals.
-Maintenance / wear and tear items are up to date
-Meticulously cared for (Always kept exterior/interior as clean as possible including underside of car, and always warmed up car before driving off)
I had originally planned on keeping it forever, but plans changed and I needed more cargo space, so I bought a new Mazda 3 instead. I"m the second owner. The original couple owned it for about 2 years / 4,800 miles. I bought it through them and have had it for the last 5 years, and it is now at 30,150 miles. In my possession, the car has never thrown a trouble light/code, and has never failed to start. Nothing mechanical or electrical has ever needed repairs. The engine oil level remains the same at each oil change so it doesn"t burn any oil. I do have some modifications to the car, it is what a lot of miata owners consider to be the "essential" mods for this generation miata. I"ve listed them below, along with some goodies that come with it:
Modifications:
-Flyin Miata Suspension Package (flyinmiata.com) with approximately 5000 miles on them. Rides like an OEM sports package.
-Tune by Jay at TDR (tdr-mx5tuning.com). Small power bump with improved throttle response. If you preferred, you can have him return the car back to the OEM tune for free at anytime.
-Precision wheel alignment (Done at Camber Toe of Long Island after suspension install)
Additionals that come with the car:
-Osram Rallye 65W low beam bulbs (Brightest halogen bulbs you can safely run)
-Weathertech mats
-I have Mobil 1 oil and a Bosch filter for the next oil change.
The bad:
-Several years ago someone scratched the passenger side of the car. It was claimed by insurance and professionally repaired. To this day I see no degradation or color mismatch between the original/new paint. You can see for yourself in the pictures.
-About a year ago, while parked overnight at a friend"s place, a pole in a garbage can tipped over onto the driver"s side of the car and left a nickel sized dent on the rear quarter panel. It has not been repaired but it shows no sign of rust/corrosion. I"ve gotten quotes to repair at professional shops for about $425-$450.
Feel free to make me an offer. Email or text me (917-302-9527)
