Vehicle description
This auction is for a 2010 Camaro LT (3.6L V6) in Aqua Blue Metallic with silver stripes. It has a 6-speed Automatic transmission. The interior is black cloth, power front seats, in good condition. The color is considered rare since only approximately 3,900 Camaros were made in ABM. I am the original owner of the vehicle since August 2009. It has 190,550 miles, however it is not currently running. Until recently, it has always been garage kept. I have the owner’s manual with a log of the car’s maintenance history. The original manufacturer’s window sticker is included.
THIS VEHICLE IS NOT CURRENTLY IN RUNNING CONDITION. This car has been my daily driver since new. About a month ago it started, sputtered, then would not start. My local mechanic assessed the problem and found wide-ranging compression in the cylinders. His conclusion is that the timing chain has caused a timing problem that will not allow the car to start. The only other notable issue was oil consumption, which was about 1 quart every 2,000 - 2,500 miles. All oil changes throughout its history were completed by me using Mobil1 full synthetic (documented in the owner’s manual log). Before it failed to start, I was averaging 28-29 mpg on the highway. The vehicle required a PA emissions waiver in June of 2019. The paint condition is good overall, with some chips on the driver’s side (see photos).
This car has an AM/FM/Sirius XM stereo with CD player. The stereo and speakers work fine, the heating and cooling work as they should and under the hood I added a K&N Cold Air Intake. There is a (factory option) spare tire and jack in the trunk. The spare has about 50 miles on it. The car has the original factory 18” wheels and the current tires have approximately 15K miles of use (see tread photo). The brakes were replaced in 2019 and work well. A new battery was installed in February 2019.
TERMS and PAYMENT: The purchaser agrees to a $200 Paypal deposit (to be paid within 48 hours of the auction’s end) that will cover my listing fees if the transaction fails to reach completion. The deposit will be subtracted from what is owed on the final purchase price. The purchaser will make arrangements for the towing/ shipping of the car at his or her expense. All fees that may be associated with the sale (title transfer, taxes, etc.) are the responsibility of the purchaser.
