Say Yellow to Your Sweet New Convertible! 2009 Mazda MX-5 Miata Sport Convertible in Rare Color - Competition Yellow It’s showy and rare, in Competition Yellow (only 300 were sold in US in 2009, and only 97 in Canada). We’re a semi-retired couple who loves beautiful cars. We bought the car for nice cruises on sunny weekends, not as a daily driver. We purchased this gorgeous Mazda Miata MX-5 Sport Convertible from a retired Virginia high school principal in February 2017. The car was in extraordinary condition; still with the original paint, except the front bumper had been painted professionally for stone chips. The car had just received a new black vinyl roof, but the interior was worn. It’s automatic transmission, for easy cruising and fun. We restored the Miata as follows: · First, we had the local Mazda dealer change air filter, oil filter and oil, fluids- power steering, differential, automatic transmission. · New spark plugs were installed. · To improve headlights, HID light and LED DLR lights, LED bulbs rear, and LED interior lighting for floor, storage compartments and trunk. · Hella Supertone Horns were installed. · A new powerful stereo with Bluetooth, DVD and full functioning steering wheel controls and new speakers were installed. · The seat covers were worn. So, we installed custom, premium perforated, contrast stitched Italian leather seats with two stage heating, shaved the original seat foam for height and installed HD gel cushions for comfort. A matching leather boot cover for the emergency brake was installed. · Since all seats were removed, all interior panels were removed. The doors, the interior and the trunk are heavy lined with Dynamat sound deadener. · The car’s interior was upgraded with carbon fiber dash, center console, back panel and door trim. We even got the Moss trunk lid liner. · Four new tires were installed less than 500 miles ago. We left the original alloy wheels on the car. This car is set up for comfort and cruising, so we did not want to experience the sound of low ratio tires with even stiffer side walls. It’s truly one-of-a-kind! The car has 89,000 miles on the clock, and it’s in outstanding condition and ready to cruise. Comes with two remotes. Everything works beautifully. Clean title. All listed restoration is documented, and all invoices and pictures made during the restoration process are available. Car has always been garaged. We know what the KBB value is for MX-5, at this age and this mileage. You might find a Miata for less money, but you will not find one in a condition like this Miata, and you will not be able to restore a typical 2009 MX-5 with 89K miles to a comparable condition at this price.
