Vehicle description
2009 Cadillac CTS AWD with all the factory options. I have replaced almost all major parts, timing chain, shocks, struts, control arms (front and rear), driveshaft, iridium spark plugs, new motor and transmission mounts, all new filters, new 6 speed transmission, always used mobil 1 synthetic oil, always used premium gasoline preferably from BP, LED daytime running lights (changed from original incandescent bulbs), LED rear lights, HID headlights that turn during cornering, always garage kept. These miles are mostly highway since I"ve had to commute to the Poconos once a month.
The Bad: The rear differential will need to be replaced. The car runs and drives perfectly in a straight line but on turns the differential will start to thud and make noise. I was planning to replace it but now I have had to buy a new SUV since I"m expecting a child.
I loved this car but unfortunately will sell it at a loss for 6k. This car will run perfectly with a new or used rear differential. With so many new original GM parts the car drove like new before the differential issue. With a little TLC you can be driving a "like new" Cadillac out the door. There is no other work needed to this car. It has amazing curb appeal, I"ve always had compliments everywhere I go. This car is also fast, it has the 3.6L V6 with 304 horsepower and all wheel drive. It is a BEAST in the snow.
The title is clear, no salvage or flood damage. I am the second owner. I would recommend that this car be towed rather than driven away as you do not want to cause strain any of the drivetrain components.
