| “this car has a reconstructed title from about 140k miles. so its all been sorted out and giving good service. Young lady driver travelling out of state noticed a funny smell, so turned it off and called triple A (AAA) roadside assistance, it was towed in to a local shop and the shop is not familiar with boxer engines so they passed on the repair. someone familiar with these can have a great little car pretty economically!!!” |

2008 SUBARU OUTBACK
this is a very clean little car with 177k miles. It has a reconstructed title due to a deer hit and since that that time it has been driven over 30,000 miles.The car has an issue with the head gasket. The driver noticed a smell of antifreeze and pulled over, had the car towed and the diagnosis was a head gasket. The owner was out of state and the car was left here in WV and the folks driving it were picked up by family. The shop was not familiar with the repair and its gotten put on the back burner, the owner decided to sell the car as opposed to tow it back to his home state.
it starts right up and runs good and transmission seems good. It has some smell coming from the exhaust and it is antifreeze. I trailered it here and am offering it up for sale so that someone who needs a good little and almost new looking car can have a chance to get it fixed and back on the road, these little cars live forever if they are treated right. I own a body shop and have been doing this 43 years. I have looked this car over and its been repaired very nicely and I cant see any evidence of repair anywhere. Its shiny and the paint matches, It has two brand new tires on the front, the rears are 60 percent there, the owner told me he had recently replaced both rear wheel bearings also.
I took several underside pictures to show you this car is not rusty! !
just trailered this home today and will get it washed and detailed for the new owner to be! !
