I"m selling my beloved Legacy! The only reason that I"m selling it is that I decided I wanted another car instead which I"ve already purchased. This Legacy"s #1 selling point is how well it has been consistently maintained throughout every single one of those miles. I have always done oil changes at least every 3000 miles with full synthetic. For about the past year, I"ve done Rotella T6. It is now stock except for the following: Thule roof rack (willing to remove if you want to bring the car"s price down) Thule fairing (willing to remove if you want to bring the car"s price down) Subaru auto-dimming rear view mirror Subaru extendable armrest Subaru all-season rubber floormats It"s currently on Bridgestone Potenza Pole Position S-04 215/45/R17 summer tires. Also included in this price are 4 Bridgestone Blizzak WS70 225/50/R17 winter tires. They are incredible in the snow. They have only been used for 2 winters. Notable maintenance items: 103,000: timing belt, timing belt tensioners, timing belt idlers, water pump, coolant 135,000: CLUTCH, pressure plate, flywheel, throw out bearing, front wheel hub bearings, ball joints, end links, outer tie rod ends, all brake rotors & pads, brake fluid flushed and displaced with new fluid, transmission gear oil, rear differential gear oil, rear main seal, headlights refinished, all 4 front control arm bushings. This project included a ton of anti-seize during reassembly. 148,000: windshield 150,000: Duralast Gold battery, front brake rotors & pads, front left wheel bearing 153,000: VF-46 turbo from my 2008 Outback XT: This turbo has only 83,000 miles. Nothing went wrong with the Legacy"s original VF-46 turbo, which I still have and can show it and its non-existent shaft play to you. I thought the turbo might be the cause of some increased oil consumption that I was seeing, so that was a factor in me swapping in a different one. As mentioned in the next maintenance item, it ended up being the PCV that was causing the oil consumption. I upgraded the turbo in my Outback, so its stock VF-46 was available for use to breathe even more longevity potential into this Legacy. 155,000: PCV (had been causing engine oil consumption) 156,000: alignment, full exterior, interior, and engine bay detailing It has been in 2 minor crashes. They both happened at less than 5 mph and were each immediately fixed. There was no frame damage in either case. The exterior, although freshly detailed, has notable shortcomings. There is a scrape & hole in the right rocker panel from me clipping the stupid wall in my apartment"s driveway. There are 2 dents (one on each side) which appear to be from people opening their doors into the car. I then started parking far away, and those mystery dents stopped growing! There is also a 5-inch skinny dent along the bottom of the fuel door from when I backed into my brother"s stupidly-parked car. The interior is in fantastic shape. The leather is still soft and all of the carpets are clean.
