Vehicle description
This is a Special Edition Saab 9-3 demonstrating XWD technology with model-unique jet black metallic paint, carbon fiber trim, tightened suspension, updated exhaust, and upgraded high pressure turbo boosting a 2.8L V6 with 320HP and 400lb-ft torque. It is based off the Saab 9-3 model and made even more rare with a manual transmission and the unique rims (worth ~$1000 for the set). One of few models of its kind in North America (1 of 600)
One of the safest, most well-built cars on the road. "XWD" sensors adjust wheel power (between front and back and side to side) continually to provide optimal grip and power during changing weather conditions/car weight distributions. The XWD system can theoretically deliver 99% of power to one wheel if road conditions require it. From a dead stop, the car engages with mostly rear wheel power and adjusts to a more front wheel drive configuration while cruising.
Car comes fully loaded with touchscreen nav/audio, backup sensor, sunroof, self leveling rear-shocks, integrated car garage remote, cruise control, dual-climate, automatic wipers, self-leveling HID headlights, and the comfiest seats I"ve ever driven in (memory seats). Only non-stock parts of the car are a new set of very grippy Pirelli tires, and a Stage 0 tune by Brian at VTuner which really opens up the power in the car.
In addition the car will come with set of Blizzak winter tires, a roof rack, ski rack, optional cold air intake, everything I use to detail her, as well as fluids, gaskets, filters, and parts for future maintenance (ignition coils, spark plugs, rear racing shocks etc.) . The Stage 0 tune also comes with a handheld tune computer to read codes and change the tune.
90% dealer-maintained at Charles River Saab/Boston Volvo Village, frequent oil changes and had used-car inspection done prior to putting her on the market, which attested to the car being in great shape. Never has any major issues with the car, just simple maintenance. Clean CarFax, full maintenance history and have title in-hand. Peter the Saab Specialist at Boston Volvo can vouch for it"s excellent condition. In short, this car will be on the road for a long time.
Brakes, suspension, XWD systems, etc. all well maintained and transmission/clutch is in great condition. Only things wrong with the car are small front-end highway nicks and interior dash noises during cold weather. Otherwise, car is mint as it has been looked over thoroughly by my mechanic. Regularly garaged, clay barred and waxed by myself. Mostly highway miles. Although Saab is out of business, parts are easy to obtain and are still produced.
I am selling because I"m currently attending medical school and don"t have much use for the car unfortunately. Hoping she will find a good home with a Saab enthusiast. Email, text, call me asap if interested. I will remove posting once unavailable.
Haven"t used ebay to sell my car before so feel free to call me at 978-790-5507
