Vehicle description
The engine has been removed and it was found that the crankshaft bearings need replaced. All parts for the car and engine are included in the sale. It will need an engine gasket kit and the crankshaft bearings (part number 99610120510) to rebuild the engine. I have already purchased the Connecting-Rod Bearings and will include these in the sale. The crankshaft has been measured and does not need to be replaced. Basically the engine was torn down, the issue was found and it was decided was time to purchase a new car and sell this at a loss, as enough money has already been spent on this car on things like a new clutch, battery, brakes etc.
All of the headwork has already been done and they are still wrapped up when they came back from the shop. This was around $2k by itself. The majority of the costs to rebuild this engine has already been taken care of. The engine gasket set can be bought for $400-$650 and the crankshaft bearings are around $200. For about $1,000 and some elbow grease, you can have this car running at half the cost of what it would take to buy one that is running.
I don"t have space for this car and the one that"s replacing it, so I need to sell this one, which is why the price is so low. If you"re looking at these cars, you"ll know that they sell for $15k-$20k in this condition with these miles. There are a few small scratches, nothing major. It"s never been wrecked and has always had the required maintenance done. The top is in great condition and overall the car is in great condition especially for the miles, the AC was cold, windows work, all features work and it drove great!
I will work with the person on helping getting everything shipped, as in getting the parts packaged so they won"t be damaged.
