This car would be a great deal for somebody who can replace the head gasket. It has a 2013 engine, new turbo (OEM, not a cheapo ebay one), new lightweight flywheel, clutch, etc. Clean and clear title. My son bought this car with a bad engine last February to fix up. It has been stored inside since then. A couple months ago we got a 52k mile engine out of a 2013, spent a couple thousand on new parts and. . it smokes. At this point, he"s frustrated with it and just wants to sell it. We put a brand new OEM turbo on, new Fidanza lightweight flywheel (with new bolts, obviously), LUK clutch, and lots of other parts on (gaskets, of course, injector seals, etc.). Install was done properly, not skipping steps and torqueing everything to factory specs. The engine install took 5 weekends since we kept having to order parts and I insisted on doing things right . With a good head gasket, this is a $8000 car, but the thought of turning another wrench on it is almost painful for my son, lol. The car starts up immediately, idles and drives fine, but there"s white smoke and I"m getting a P0303 (cylinder 3 misfire) code. I did a leakdown test and cylinder 3 is worse than the others. I think the head gasket is bad. We"ve driven less than 10 miles and I"ve made him park it so we don"t damage anything. I would recommend not driving it more than you have to until you get it checked out. The car is in excellent shape. No rust, body has the normal door dings, but the paint is very nice. All the lights and glass are clear. Three tires are almost new, one is about 25% (no idea why). The interior is extremely nice, with no noticeable wear. It has the Bose stereo. Brakes were done before we bought the car. As far as I can see, a new head gasket and you"ll be ready to rock. The other "wear" items (turbo, brakes, clutch) are new. I"m all about full honesty when I sell anything (check my feedback), so expect it to be exactly as described and feel free to ask any questions you have. I have receipts for the stuff we bought. Also, don"t hesitate to ask for pics of what you want to see. If you want to ship the car, we can work with the shipper you choose and the car runs plenty well to load and unload. If you want to pick it up, please plan on a trailer. We have a lot of hours and care in the car and would hate to see the engine torn up because somebody decided to drive it halfway across the country with a bad head gasket. $200 deposit due at auction"s end. Also, if you want to make an offer, feel free. EDIT: I put some Bars Leaks in and the smoke is much better, but the engine still stumbles a bit and I get the intermittent misfire code (i.e. it went away for a couple miles, then came back on). The car is parked and waiting for somebody with the time and interest to troubleshoot it.
