Owned by former member of a professional Mazda racing team, and used as a daily commuter car. This car has been meticulously cared for and is extremely reliable. A mechanic/pit crew member went through the car to make sure that all the major mechanical components are operating properly. Now the car feels as tight as a drum, engine pulls like a brand new car, transmission shifts effortlessly and smoothly, and brakes stop the car on a dime, AC blows ice cold, and the heater blows like a furnace.
Many parts that were worn out, wearing out, or questionable were simply replaced with brand new ones. This car is now ready to go another 150,000 mi effortlessly! Feel free to bring your mechanic so he can verify all the new parts on the car and its excellent condition. Selling it because we have too many cars and I"m condensing our collection of cars. Drives wonderfully and delivers great gas mileage (23 city/31 highway MPG). This is the fuel efficient 2.0L automatic transmission touring version, 4dr with large trunk space and split fold down rear seats. Base model so there are fewer electronic gadgets to give you headaches like many other cars. Factory AM/FM with CD player, auxiliary port for your phone (like a poor man"s Bluetooth), speed sensitive volume control, stereo controls on the steering wheel. Onboard tire pressure warning system, power assisted steering, front/rear defroster, intermittent windshield wipers. Bottom line: This is a 10 yr old car that feels as nice as a 6 month old car. It looks great still so you"ll be proud of it. It is not perfect but e verything works well. It"s super reliable and will take you any where across the country safely and reliably. It"s very thrifty on fuel, and still has enough power and good handling to deliver plenty of fun.
