This is a 2008 Lincoln mkz FWD vehicle in full. One original owner. Mechanic says it will need work on existing water pump or new one will need to be installed. Please know mechanical work will need to be done to make sure engine doesn"t overheat from faulty water pump! Mechanic says he is confident that is it, but you never know until the work is completed as he put it. Diagnosis was performed by a Ford dealership and mechanic. Vehicle is being sold as is, so no warranty implied. With the exception of a minor seam separation on the driver"s seat leather, a couple of minor scratches on the rear bumper, a few cracks on windshield glass, and cosmetic scratches under gas cap area, this car is in great condition for the age and miles. Condition is "labeled" fair because of the mechincal issue and minor body damage under gas gap. Other than that, this is a great car for someone who wants to put the money into a new water pump as noted by the mechanic at Ford. Work does not have to be done by Ford, which lowers the cost dramatically. All service work has been done by Ford in the past, with this being the only major issue ever. All body work in the past has been done by Lincoln authorized certified dealership repair shops only. No one besides Lincoln or Ford has touched this car for work or service, including oil changes.
