Vehicle description
2007 Volkswagen Rabbit. I purchased this Rabbit in August of 2010. It has served me well over the last 10 years, but I"ve finally decided to move into something a little bigger. Mechanically it is in perfect running condition, just recently serviced at a local VW dealer, as it has been for the last 10 years. I would not hesitate to drive this car across the country. There are many thousands of miles left in this Rabbit! There have been a few upgrades to the car over the years. The cloth seats and door panels have been switched out for leather. Radio was upgraded to an oem rns-510 navigation unit, Bluetooth phone connectivity is provided by a Motorola system. Oem projector fog lights were also installed. The springs are oem vw sport springs, shocks and brakes are from a GTI. Trust me, if I could have ordered these options at the time I bought the car, I would have. They simply weren"t available. The paint is still in great shape, it has been hand washed except for a few occasions where the dealer would run it through a car wash during a service appointment, thinking they were doing me a favor. The only issue to disclose other than normal paint chips along the bottom of the front spoiler lip, is some paint cracking, right behind the front bumper, parking light lens from a raccoon that impacted the area, crossing the road. The interior is in good condition as well, no tears or holes. I don"t smoke, but my dog was a frequent traveler in the car, in case anyone has any allergies. Mechanically, I"ve had zero issues with this car. The only thing that has failed, in the time I"ve had it, was the battery, which was replaced at 85,000 miles. Tires will need replacing soon though. Feel free to email any questions or pic requests. Thanks!
