Vehicle description
Up for bid is my 2007 Toyota FJ Cruiser in Voodoo / Royal blue Color with 137500 miles.
It has some pros and cons but it is overall a great vehicle.
The first things is that it is a 2007 so is has some normal wear and tear that you will probably notice at some time or another, but it is a rugged on and off road retro style vehicle so I don"t think that really seems to make it look bad in my opinion. There was one time on a day that had over a foot of snow that I was showing off (to myself) how good it is in the snow and rather than parking in plenty of other spaces I parked in a space that was next to a fence so long story short the snow compacted and the FJ moved to the right a little bit and put a couple small dents in the passenger side rear swing out door. I have a faded nascar sticker covering up the worst part of it. I can put a brand new sticker on it and it will look better.
The second thing I want to mention is that some water got in from the roof rack which is very common on these FJs, so I took off the roof rack as suggested by the community and carefully put sealing along the joint line and roof rack attachment locations. So the leak is sealed however you may want to get the headliner redone by a place that does vehicle reupholstery. I drive it the way it is, and I feel fine. It really isn’t that bad, but I thought about replacing it before I sold it so I went to a place in town that said it would cost 3 to 4 hundred dollars but that they were so busy that they couldn’t do it for 2 or 3 weeks and I really need to sell it so my loss is your gain in this case.
The third thing is that I’ve been meaning to get the AC checked out and haven’t.
It seemed to have run out of freon and so I’ve just been driving it around with the window rolled down.
So with all that said, it is a great vehicle that has mostly been an in town driver. I did take it off road several times and it was great off road.
The paint is still pretty shiny and not faded, but there are some places the paint on the bumper areas and some other areas have been rubbed off.
The vehicle runs and drives great with no mechanical problems.
I had a custom sun roof put in at the dealership where I bought it.
It has brand new floor matts, sun visors, and windshield wipers.
It has new front strut assemblies and relatively new tires.
It really is a great vehicle but I wanted to mention everything I could to give you the most accurate description that I can.
I would keep it, but I just lost my job and it is time for me to put my family first.
If you have any questions I will be happy to answer them
