This is the 1.6 L Prince/BMW I4 DOHC N12. Peugeot engine with dual overhead cams and BMW variable valve timing ( VANOS). T op speed of 201 km/h (125 mph). Fuel economy of 40.6 mpg. With Electronic stability control (ESC), also referred to as electronic stability program (ESP) or dynamic stability control (DSC), is a computerized technology that improves a vehicle"s stability by detecting and reducing loss of traction (skidding). Well maintained, all manufactures suggested maintenance was done and replaced anything that had even the slightest sign of wear. All new coil packs, VANOS was inspected adjusted and has New Variable Valve Timing Control Solenoids , All engine valves checked, adjusted and Timing chain kit replaced with new kit. All brakes new with drilled and slotted discs and ceramic low dust brake pads. Tires has 4100 miles on them. Purchased both O2 sensors for planned replacement at 120K.
6-speed automatic Tiptronic trans with pallet shifters with sports and manual mode. The complete valve body was inspected 3 years ago replaced 1 solenoid and 1 sensor and was filled with AMSOIL Signature Series Synthetic ATF and had a flush and refill at 100K maintenance. Flawless.
Currently the vehicle is set to metric with kilometers/celsius but can be reset to miles/fahrenheit.
