Hello everyone - I"ve relisted this car after getting some cosmetic work done. I"ve lowered the reserve as well! I purchased this car used from a Nissan dealership in 2011 when it had about 75,000 miles on it. I’ve been extremely happy with it through and through. It’s fun to drive, runs great, handles well, sounds awesome, and really flies - especially when the VTEC kicks in. I’m selling the car because I’m moving to Boston where I’ll be taking public transit and won’t need a car. I’ll be sad to see it go. The car is in fantastic shape mechanically. It runs great and I haven"t had any issues with the car - all I"ve had to do is the standard upkeep maintenance the owner"s manual recommends. I’ve had all the maintenance work and oil changes done at Honda dealerships other than a few oil changes at Jiffy Lube in a pinch. The car passed inspections at the dealership with flying colors every time. I put up a photo of the latest inspection so you can see what I mean. A couple of years ago I had a mechanic tell me the car"s mechanical condition is "immaculate". The interior of the car is in fantastic shape other than wear on the driver’s side floor mat from shifting, which you can see in the photos. All the knobs and buttons on the console work except for the music control ones because I didn"t have them hooked up to the aftermarket head unit I had installed in 2013. The head unit does CD’s, MP3’s, USB, Bluetooth, and hands-free calling (although it can be hard to for people to hear you on hands-free mode…this car isn’t quiet!). The head unit comes with a remote. I also have the original stereo for the car, which I"ll include with the sale. I replaced the convertible soft top with a Robbins top in 2012 – much better quality than the stock factory top. Water-tight and raises and lowers great! I just had the car"s exterior buffed and touched up, and I had the headlights cleaned to make them shine again. The previous listing showed some scratches and spots - these have been fixed. The only imperfections left on the exterior are the nicks on the car"s front bumper from kicked up rocks throughout the years and you can tell that the bottom of the front bumper has scraped on the ground a few times. If you haven"t owned an S2000 before, I highly recommend avoiding steep inclines and declines whenever possible. Scraping the front bumper can be unavoidable in these situations - this car is low! All in all the car is in great shape other than minor cosmetic wear and tear you"d expect for a car of this age. Thanks for checking out my auction.
