Vehicle description
This has been the most dependable vehicle I have ever owned, by far! Such an awesome car for folks just starting out or anyone in need of a daily driver, especially if you desire a powerful 4-wheel drive.
The only reason I am selling is because I was finally able to purchase my dream truck and now I just don"t need 3 vehicles {you"ll see it in the photos just behind the Nitro}.
I bought this from Porsche of Arlington (Virginia) in December of 2012 and I"m fairly certain I was the 2nd owner, but I technically can"t verify.
My wife and I both work from home every day, so we rarely drive any of our vehicles, which is why this has such low mileage. Most of the miles are from driving up to Washington DC and back, from Virginia Beach, once a month, for my job. Other than that it just sits in the driveway day-after-day.
I would literally trust driving this car to Alaska and back without any hesitation whatsoever. If my kids were older I would just give it to them to drive every day, but their nowhere near driving age yet.
The only major part I"ve ever replaced is the rear driver"s side brake caliper about 16 months ago at Pep Boys. The tires are practically brand new all the way around. I think they have about 15k miles on them at most. As you can see from the photos, they have A LOT of wear left on them.
There are very few issues to mention, but here"s the list:
Front bumper - About 10-12 inches of the top coat of paint has peeled a little, as can be seen in the photo. Hit it with some wet 600 grit sandpaper, spray it with white spray paint, and it"s gone (maybe a top coat sealer, too). A brand new bumper is about $200, installed.
Driver"s seat - See the photos. The seat got dry and split in the usual place, but can easily be fixed with an auto leather seat upholstery repair kit back to 100% for about $12-15. All seat cushions are in 100% perfect condition all the way around.
The rear passenger side seat has an indentation in it from my child"s car seat. I fully expect that to disappear in a week or 2 once it forms back into place.
Driver"s side front bumper - Someone bumped the corner of my bumper about 2 yrs ago. She just barely clipped me with her rear passenger-side bumper, trying to squeeze into my lane, so it"s it"s hardly noticeable. This Nitro is loaded with practically every factory option available at the time of purchase {see seller"s sheet from my original purchase}.
I towed a loaded camper with it a few months ago and it pulled it like it was nothing. I"ve pushed through 2-3 snow drifts like nothing. . .lots of power to spare! There"s no lien. I have the title in hand.
SHIPPING : Since I come up to the Washington DC area once a month for my job, I"m willing to deliver the car to you if you happen to be relatively near my route up north (i95 North to southern Maryland from the Virginia Beach area). I would need cash, a certified bank check, or some other type of certified bank instrument to sign over the title. I"m sure we can work something out. .
My next trip is up north is Sunday, September 24th. If this is what you"d like to do, I will take a deposit and hold the car until we can meet up during my trip up north. Otherwise, I"m happy to help arrange shipping (click on the "Shipping" option eBay provides for quotes) from my home in Virginia Beach, VA. I"m even starting the auction below the "Very Good" and even just the "Good" estimates from KBB.com on this car, so you know you"re getting good value right off the bat. With such low mileage, this is a steal. . . .
Please don"t hesitate to ask any questions. . . . Thanks!
