I have for sale a Hybrid 2007 Chevy Silverado 1500 Extended Cab 4x4 with only 97,199 miles. This is the Classic body style the same as 2006. This Truck is a Hybrid with Electric 110 volt 2500 amp generator built in the truck with 110 volt outlets in the cab and in the bed. This is the only Chevy Hybrid I have every seen. The interior is like new with every option except a sun roof. It has 4 new tires and a new Battery. It has 4 wheel drive and is powered by a 5.3l V8 with a automatic transmission. The truck is a good solid truck but has a little rust on the rocker panels and over the rear wheels. The 5.3L V8 has Active Fuel Management (AFM) is a trademarked General Motors technology that improves gas mileage by shutting down half of the cylinders under light-load conditions to reduce fuel consumption. It is also known as Displacement on Demand (DoD) or cylinder deactivation. This system is not working properly and the engine has a mis-fire on number 6 cyl. It is a very common problem and can be repaired or the AFM system can be deleted. The truck runs and drives great down the road it just has the mis-fire when idling. I don"t have the time to repair wright know that is why the truck is priced low. Every on the truck works as it should including the dual climate control.
